Joseph OSBORNE, the son of Joseph OSBORNE and his wife Susannah Macgregor,was born in about 1820 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Joseph Jnr. came to Australia, arriving in Sydney aboard ?dolphus Yates" on 13 January 1862.He married and had four children, one of whom, Ann Frances Macgregor OSBORNE,was my grandmother.

She had older brothers who had migrated to Australia earlier. Mary PIKE married James JACKSON in Sydney on 3 May 1859. I believe that other PIKE brothers went to USA and settled in New York.
